From frontend to VP of Engineering to technical co-founder.
I'm a technology executive and entrepreneur with over fifteen years in software — I started writing frontend code and ended up leading engineering for AI-native platforms. Today I run Collybrix, a technical accelerator where we act as temporary technical co-founders for startups going from idea validation to 100K users.
Before Collybrix I was VP of Engineering at AKAIO by Kyra Group, where we shipped an AI-native innovation platform built on Gen AI, multi-agent systems and semantic search. I led the full stack — from KrakenD and Milvus in the back to a Next.js SSR frontend — and, more importantly, built the team and the engineering culture that made it possible.
Along the way I worked as a full-stack engineer across healthcare, security, marketing, genomics and entertainment: Disney Parks Tickets at Globant, genomic studies at Sistemas Genómicos, electric-asset platforms at Between Technology, Auth0 and SSO for the Justice Department of Texas. Each domain taught me a different way products fail — and succeed.
I founded my first company, Orange Tools, in 2011 and ran it for eight years building web products for local and regional clients. Teaching has always run in parallel: high-school math and physics first, then ReactJS courses at Coderhouse for hundreds of developers across Latin America.
What I care about now is the intersection of AI and early-stage engineering: PRDs that survive non-determinism, multi-tenant architectures that don't slow you down, and incentives — fee plus equity — that make us a partner rather than a vendor.
